Check out the top email designs that have landed in our inbox over the past month. We’ve got some unique animations from Nike, great International Women’s Day content, and finishing up with a Guinness or two. Let us know which ones may have inspired you over on our Instagram or Twitter. Enjoy!

1.  Nike

SL: Hi [NAME], Your Nike Hi-Five Here 👀

Chosen for:

Design. Another great email from Nike landed in our inbox this month! They are fantastic at always delivering branded and stand out animations, starting and finishing their newsletters off nicely with these fun GIF’s.


2. Sculpd

SL: Meet The Makers of Our Candle Pots!

Chosen for:

Content. Using email as a channel to let customers ‘go behind the scenes’ is a great way to show the human side to your brand and connect with your customers in a more personal way.

Design. The use of curved modules, lines, and imagery keep this whole email so fun and playful. Individual modules are clear through the use of different background colours, but the theme is continued throughout the whole email and joins everything together perfectly.


3. The Sill

SL: Happy International Women’s Day!

Chosen for:

Content. With lots of International Women’s Day emails landing in our inbox this year, this one from The Sill really caught our attention. The simplicity of the design, and clear concise copy made the content extremely easy to digest.


4. Beards & Daisies

SL: 4 plants your furry friends will love

Chosen for:

Content. Using ‘national days’ is a great way to encourage reader engagement, even when you think it may not quite align to your brand - plants and pets, what’s not to love?

Design. An eye catching animation was nice to see upon opening the email, where our eyes were drawn down nicely to the editorial style design later on. The CTA’s really stood out to us throughout, through the use of a bright background colour, great to see! 5.


Superdrug

SL: Feeling lucky, [NAME]? 🍀

Chosen for:

Theme. There’s no mistaking the theme of this email and it’s awesome to see Superdrug really embraced St. Patricks Day! The animation and live countdown clock are a great way to start the email, exciting the reader to click through and reveal their offer.


6. Dolce Gusto

SL: [NAME], it’s your lucky St Patrick’s Day

Chosen for:

Design. This St. Patricks Day at ActionRocket, we wanted to help our client Dolce Gusto disrupt the inbox for their customers. We created a ‘spin to win’ interactive module to lead the email, asking the reader to take part to reveal their exclusive offer. We themed the email throughout making it stand out as much as possible, even adding in a Guinness-style coffee!

Interactivity hit the mark for this email and we saw high clicks and click-to-open rates across the board.
