Live Website Games
In an exciting brief, PizzaExpress tasked us with developing online games for their website. Like many restaurants, they had to close their doors throughout 2020. A key feature of the in-restaurant family experience is their Piccolo Pack, filled with fun activities and games to entertain children. To engage their young fans during lockdown, PizzaExpress wanted to bring this fun to their homes.
We were challenged to create digital, family-friendly games for the PizzaExpress website. The games needed to be fully interactive and suitable for different ages. We designed three games for their Piccolo Corner: an interactive Wordsearch that restarts with new words after each game, a Crossword with three difficulty levels and the ability to type letters on the page, and an interactive Keyboard game for music fans, allowing users to replicate tunes and replay their versions. These projects let us be creative and experiment with new techniques outside of the email channel.
